About Us

Historic Kenwood Preservation is a community-based organization dedicated to providing assistance to homeowners who reside in
Historic Kenwood, who are in need of historically correct architectural artifacts for renovations and remodeling. We also accept donations of architectural artifacts from within the St.Petersburg area. All items are provided at no cost to Historic Kenwood homeowners.
Our Historic Preservation task force consists of volunteers who are dedicated to preserving Historic Kenwood's architectural integrity. They patrol the community, watching for any home in renovation or remodeling and inform the homeowner of our community's preservation goals. They collect and store all historic architectural artifacts in and outside the community.
The task force provides these artifacts free-of-charge to any residence within Historic Kenwood in order to maintain as much of the original historical material when remodeling their home.
Members of the task force include: WC Turner, Jim Gardiner, Joanne Osetsky, Carolyn Rosende, Gary Bryant and Victor Beaumont.
Historic Kenwood Preservation is looking for a few helpers who would be willing to spend a small amount of time each month to support our preservation efforts. We need volunteers to assist in picking up and delivering architectural artifacts; responding to requests from Historic Kenwood residents; assist with maintaining an inventory of artifacts; and taking pictures of artifacts.
If you are interested in helping us preserve the unique architectural character of Historic Kenwood, please contact WC Turner for more information.
